76 2.0, 130,000 miles. I used to run Brad Penn 30 with high ZDDP, a very “ sticky” oil. It stopped the little bit of smoking from the exhaust. (probably worn rings). The newer oil is called Penn oil, and I don’t think it’s the same as the original Brad Penn formulation. Now the engine is smoking a little again. Can anyone recommend a replacement/equivalent oil to my old stickyBrad Penn oil?

What's the important properties beside Zinc, that make you guys so dedicated to one brand or another?
I see some awfully cheap oils with significant zinc numbers. |
