So finalizing engine details and need a little help with mounting brackets.
This picture shows mounting bracket in place. ![]() The bracket on this side is MIA…maybe ![]() Next is outboard… ![]() ![]() Could some post what I should be seeing if correct. Zoom in on last pic and you can see outboard bracket. Trying to also determine where that attaches. Thanks….. |

Yes, I believe the tab on the one side is to clamp the cables in place, not mount to the case.
On a different note, I see you installed turbo valve covers on the exhausts. If you ever plan to check/adjust the valves with the engine in the car (and bolted up) you need to mill/shave some of the fins around a couple bolts. Otherwise they won't clear the trailing arm frame mounts. There are a couple threads about it. Ask me how I know.. |
