Just figured to share the progress I have made over the past few months.

Primarily an engine refresh and some remediation. Good news is I'm ready for a Test & Tune this Sunday and should make it back to the races a week after.

I'll be interested to hear how you do in EP. It's always seemed to me that a 914/4 will be pretty heavily outgunned by modern OHC cars that can get 200hp+ pretty easily out of a 2L.
My thought for mine is to source a 1.8 and run in FP. That could be a fair fight. Would put it in VP1 as well, where it would be very competitive. One could build that on a G case core. Change the crank, P/C's and you're there.
