I need to replace my 15-20 year old 914 tires & looking for suggestions. My 1974 914 tires has only about 1K+ - miles on them and in perfect condition, but needs replacement for safety. My tires are currently all-season 205x60xR15 with no fender clearance issues front or rear. I don't do track events, just local summer cruising to cars/coffee & PCA activities with our 914 locals. Need suggestions for summer only tires since it's a garage queen. I like the following size based on manufacture availability for 914's. 205x55x15 looks good? 205x60x15 does not look available? 195x60x15 looks good on 914 factory recommendations. I know it's a difficult choice on this forum & looking for expert 914 suggestions. Tom in Michigan ready to purchase. Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s)

I have been very happy with Sumitomo HTR A/S P03, in 195/65-15. Tire rack calls it "ultra high performance all season", which might be a contradiction. Anyway, it has plenty of grip in cornering and braking, is quiet, and has not worn out yet. And from my calculations 195/65-15 is close to the original stock tire diameter. Current price of $105 is a relative bargain.
