So after nearly three months I have MBlizzard's car home and at the house. I picked it up on June and dropped it off with my mechanic buddy who owns a shop to look it over. The car was clearly a work in progress with some nuances that no one knew about. We did find why it wouldn't start, he had put in a kill switch and neither I nor Kim, his wife, knew this. It is running and is quite ferocious for power! He did do quite a bit of work on it back in 2019 so not surprising there.
He put in an aftermarket FI system that I will need to acquaint myself with as there are wires running to nothing and relays that are not connected. I'll have to dig through the documentation I got with his car to sort through everything he had done. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of the car. Guess I need to get to work on it if I think I want to make it to Okteenerfest this year. Real nice guy and really pleased it has been passed on to a caring new owner. I have a secret FP cutoff and its hard to find and will stay that way . Cheers. |
