Here is how I did the clutch master setup:
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-1143-1555814683_thumb.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-1143-1555814691_thumb.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-1143-1555814703_thumb.jpg) I reversed the shaft in the pedal box. That put the arm at the other end, so the clutch master doesn't have to mount to the front of the tunnel. I ended up reworking the clutch master connection to the arm after driving it a bit. I changed it out for a clevis that went on both sides of the arm. I ended up changing the master cylinder for a different one to get it to disengage the clutch completely, but now it is way too heavy. Rick918S found a 944 master cylinder that will work with a Boxster/Cayman slave, so I am going to give that a try. |
