I'm probably not doing this right, can't find much on alternative seats for my 914 on this site. Anyway lets start afresh, I find it strange for a car that can really corner well that the standard seats do not hold you anywhere near firmly enough. I would like to upgrade to something not TOO expensive and that will fit into the car with not too much hassle, any recommendations? Yes I know its a bit of a crime but I don't feel that I can really drive the car to its full advantage as it stands or sits!

I agree - the standard seats are to sit on,not to sit in
I changed for a BF Torino cord seat - bolts straight in - cord centre to help grip - good shape and comfy in my '70 -6 see if you can sit in your chosen seat before you buy - I was able to do so cheers Dennis (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Attached image(s)
