Bought a Gemo and went to install it. and slides about 20" in the tube and becomes stuck. I blew out the tube lubed it and again no difference. In my frustration I decided to put in a cable I have had for over 40 years. Yep you guessed it. Slipped right in without issues. Is there a fix before I go buy a OEM? The 40 year old one isn't usable long term

I did a search prior to asking a similar question and didn't see this. I will pull the old and check it out. by the naked eye it looked the same but I didn't put a micrometer on it to check it. I know the tolerences are tight and expected the tube to be full of rust but when the OEM went it smoothly I knew it was a manufacturers issue |
