My 73 has the original steering wheel. Looking at a few threads, I gather 360mm is stock. Thing is I am 6'2". Have no problem fitting in the 914 itself, but the steering wheel is awkward at best. Can another member who is similarly tall post a photo of another smaller wheel as they sit in the drivers seat? Thinking a 350mm may solve my problems? Though looking at other photos maybe obscure the gauges a little. Still better then having my knees on the sides of it!

I am a big 6'1 and I recently found out putting a cushion on the seat changes stuff quite a bit as far as legs and knees and the wheel. I got a thin breathable thing on Amazon at the suggestion of others on here. I was surprised at how much it changed the feel. Not sure if it will do what you need but I would try it real quick just to see. It seems counterintuitive but I think it changed the leg angle in the right way. I also reglued my stick more to the right. That was frustrating ramming it into my leg to shift into reverse and first.
