My 73 has the original steering wheel. Looking at a few threads, I gather 360mm is stock. Thing is I am 6'2". Have no problem fitting in the 914 itself, but the steering wheel is awkward at best. Can another member who is similarly tall post a photo of another smaller wheel as they sit in the drivers seat? Thinking a 350mm may solve my problems? Though looking at other photos maybe obscure the gauges a little. Still better then having my knees on the sides of it!

When my teenage son was driving our 914 with the top on it, he would just remove the bottom seat cushion and sit on the fiberglass seat frame. He was 6ft 6 inches and needed the extra headroom, as well as all extra the leg room, this gave him. However, not very viable for long drives.
