Car had been sitting for a couple years, but last I recall, the fresh air blower fan worked, but now, the light comes on, but fan is not working?

Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

I know it probably sounds silly, though check the fuse as well. Recently, in high-heat driving through the Central CA Valley a fuse melted and I had a similar result.
