I have a slight vibration in my steering wheel, it is very minor but noticeable. It does not get worse with speed, but I find it annoying. Every suspension piece on the front end of the car has been replaced, new struts, new wheel bearings, etc.. I thought, possibly it was a problem with flat spotting of tires, but new tires and wheels did not make a difference I see online there is a steering stabilizer, that is the only thing I haven’t changed down. Can anyone tell me what that does?
Thanks
Ed

Mowog4, I replaced all suspension bushing, struts, brakes five years ago when my 914-6 GT Tribute made it back on the road after a 29 year nap. I did the very simple string alignment after ride hight, camber and caster and have put five thousand miles on each year. Car is smooth, never a vibration at any speed. As mentioned, bent rim, have you retorqued all the suspension nuts on every thing. Steering rack, ball joints, brake calipers, wheel bolts or nuts. Just check every thing, one to get rid of the vibration, two for your safety. Best, Mark

I have tried three sets of rims, all have the same result. Every nut and bolt on the suspension has been torque to factory specs, if specs were not available a guy who has been doing Porsche for years, did it. It is really baffling. It’s out getting Road forced balanced now, we’ll see if it has any affect.
