How to get this out? Wires broken at the under spark plug loop.
Guess I could just cut it and pull it out, but how do I get the new one in? If I loosen a bunch of the screws that hold the engine tin on, would that get me enough space to get the new sensor to the spark plug? OR is there some better way to do this? Thanks for the advice. Ed ![]() |

By the time you route it, I highly doubt 6’ will be enough.
Buy longer and cut or coil. Now this becomes a bit annoying when you need to drop the engine. You can put a proper K-type thermocouple connector inline through (shown below). At one point, I was even considering having a few bulkhead connectors on a panel in the engine bay so I could connect various thermocouples for temperature measurements (heads, exhaust gas, other…). ![]() |
