Would you say the shifter or more precisely - the shifting action, when set correctly, is "square" or slightly angled (like 2-3 and 4-5 is in an angled plain)... or maybe it can be set either way?

The car I recently set up, seems like 1st gear is quite a bit in, towards your right thigh while in 1st .. and maybe the 2-3 and 4-5 were slightly angled. Does that seem correct or is there an adjustment that should be made to correct it?

I think you have to adjust the shifter correctly to get all the gears and then just live to where the angle falls. The factory shifter won't center like a Rennshifter. If someone knows a better way, I'm all ears.
