I've moved the posts several times. This last time there was a puddle of fluid on the post. Looks like it's coming from the coupling.
Anyone else have this issue? Anything I can do to mitigate the leak. I've reached out to MaxJax about it. Attached image(s)

Thanks for the replies. Can't say I'm happy to hear others have had issues with these.
An issue I have now is my 930 is on the lift with only 3 wheels as I've pulled the driver side rear hub off to change the bearings. The bearings on the passenger side exploded 20k miles ago. With the car on the lift, I guess I have to wait to change the coupling until the car can be dropped. Another question: the leaking side has lost fluid and that side lifts an inch or 2 lower than the non-leaky side. Can I somehow even the 2 sides up so the car lifts level? Attached image(s)

Just raise it all the way up and keep pressing the button until the low side goes the rest of the way up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) PS: slide the rest bars in place then lower until all the weight is upon those resting bars. That will take the pressure off the unit and stop the leak for the most part. |
