here is the 74 1.8 (german spec = ROW). owned by Dr. Marchart and now held in Porsche Museum. this is a low mile original car. reportedly 20,000 odd miles.
pretty sure this is pre nov 73 build as it lacks the indentation for the charcoal canister visible in the rear trunk - all the cars whether USA market or ROW had this dent as far as my research can go after the change to the engine bay cans in about 3rd week nov 73. the car is base spec (no chrome or vinyl on sail panel, black bumpers). it appears to be needle loom (hair yarn) carpet unlike 74 USA all specs (pile hair yarn). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
