I found a stash of ceramic fuses in 8, 16, and 25 amp. About 2-300 of each are available. I was wondering what do you guys figure spare fuses are worth now that they are not being made in ceramic anymore. How would you guys like to purchase spares? I could make them into complete set of 12 for the fuse panel, 1 of each needed depending on year, or perhaps just small 5 packs like the 911 did it with 3 x 8 amp fuses, 1x 16 amp, 1 x 25 amp? Obviously not trying to do this to get rich but would need to make it worth my time to repack/ship fuses.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) you under bid @Superhawk996 - the arse-ee price was $28.00 USD per fuse. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) lets see thats $42.80 AUD per fuse. x how many fuses again. ok lets just do the 5 blister pack. thats $214.00 AUD. + freight. i dunno. lets say $30.00 AUD then there is the GST decleration. thats $21.40 AUD. then the fee for processing and collecting the GST. which will be more than the GST. lets just call it around $50.00 thats $300.00 or therabouts in AUD. thats two cartons of cigarettes + a box of lighters or 4 slabs of Asahi. fugedaboudit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) i got a fusebox full of sea ramm hicks. i'm gonna re-engineer them to the end. ---------- but seriously. i would have thought a full pack of fuses to the board and the engine bay. for your genuine USA 914 owners - $30-40 range. given its an unobtanium. and then everyone has some cores they can make it to the end with. ------------- true story. someone in a 911 in the targa tasmania a few years back got put out of action by one of these plastic fuses. their fuel pump conked out. dopes didnt look closely at their fuse panel to find out what the culprit was. it had melted. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ![]() But OK what the hell, since it’s all fiat funny money - sure let’s roll with $28 USD - that will eventually be the price anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
