Hello Gang,
I was going to ask this question in my 1975 - 1.8 build thread, but I'm not getting a lot of traction with my questions over there... My question is, shouldn't the climate control sliders be able to slide all the way to the left? My three sliders all stop about 1.5" to 2" short of going all the way left. ![]() In the photo above, all three sliders are as far to the left as they can go without being held up by something. Is that normal? or is there some sort of adjustment I need to make to correct this alignment? Thank you, Ted |

All should travel from far left to far right with no 'spring back' Old dry cables and lack of use makes them resist full travel. Getting them all to cooperate can be very time consuming. While you're in there check for melted plastic between the fan contacts. Make sure the fan works properly on all three speeds. |
