AFAIK our cars were finished with a synthol enamel, probably one tack coat and 2 full coats. I am not interested in going base coat/clear coat and am looking forward to an original or close to the original orange peel. How is this measured (profilometer), what was the original?

TIA

If you like orange peel just use a cheap harbor freight sprayer @ 30 psi and no water separator

Gee, that sounds like a lot of work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
