Is there anything that I should give attention while the fuel tank is out?
I have already:
Does the box in top center of photo, which I believe is the Fresh air inlet box, need anything and does the fuel tank need to be out to do it?  Our car is a 1970 914-6. My understanding is charcoal canister didn't appear until later. Tips on installing the fuel hose to lines so I don't end up with a leak? Thank you. |

There is a drain at the bottom of the gas hole. Make sure it is clear. There should also be a couple of pads/carpet type pieces that are glued in place. The help noises and metal to metal rubbing if the tank moves a little.
