I am using 96mm cylinders and the "vertical fin" of tin that goes behind behind the pushrods is hitting the cylinder....
What has anyone else that has had this issue done? Is there another tin option available for 96mm cylinders? How drastic will trimming it affect cooling? Thank you |

I installed biral cylinders and had to trim the tin to fit. Runs cool.

I installed biral cylinders and had to trim the tin to fit. Runs cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) ,the op clearly has biral cylinders...never seen cast iron look like those, nice upgrade BTW. Cut them after making suitable reference marks and take your time till they fit without touching the cylinder fins as mentioned, cheers. |
