the pumpkin's gas tank has black flakes in it when I looked with the borescope. Should I have it cleaned(boiled?) out or should I get a new one. If cleaned out do radiator shops do that?
Thanks Renee |

Thanks guys.
Just bought a new tank, that is the easy way ...... not the cheap way lol. I am thinking i will need to flush out new tank before install. What to use for that? Gas?, soapy water? Renee |

Renee Test fit before you add anything flammable to the tank. I bought a new tank, although ordered for a 74 the top bracket and side tab were not there. Removed them from my old tank and welded on the replacement tank. |
