I (perhaps stupidly) entered my 914 to be part of a High School homecoming parade. I figure I can either carry one passenger (seated), or perhaps 1-2 seated up on the targa bar. This will be strictly parade duty; probably 5mph.

It putting one or two people up on the targa bar a non-starter? Am I putting my rear window and/or bodywork at risk?

I was in a race once

2 914/6 hit nose to tail in a fast corner

Back car went into the air
Rolled upside down as it was crossing over the lead car

About 8-10 foot in the air
Completely passed over the top of the lead 914/6
Landed on the other side, upside down

The targa bar half caved in on only the passenger side (corner that hit)
About 12 inches of crush

From being dropped approximately 8-10 foot onto the corner of the targa
