Ok I pulled my early combo gauge (dated '69) because only half of the indicator light was illuminating. I see 1 wire (red/white) that is not connected and I have an open bulb slot. Do I just need a single spade bulb sleeve to install and hook that loose wire to it?

May have tried this already but couldn't you just move the working bulb to the socket not hooked up and see if the other side of the display lights up .
