Good morning, I hope everybody’s having a good weekend.
Tried to start the 914/6 project and less than 150 mile Carter fuel pump is dead. Good power and ground to it and not making any noise or action. Just tested a second of the exact same Carter pump that I put aside as a spare. When connected to battery + and - it pumps for about 2 seconds then trails off and then stops working. All the Facet and other pumps I’ve used will keep working so long as you have power/ground so I’m concluding that BOTH pumps are bad. What do you all think? Anyone else have problems with these? Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have one in my GT project car for more than 5 (!) years now with no problems.
It's even survived some long inactive times. I keep a spare one on hand for travel. |
