1974, 2.0 all stock and original

Teeners

I rebuilt the front end , bushings, hardware, brakes, everything powder coated and also stock bilstien inserts 2 years ago

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...7&hl=Powder

On the right front when the suspension is unloaded, it clanks - loud

I inspected for safety today and will take the suspension apart to inspect the insert asap

Any guidance as to what it could be?

Thank you teeners!

Definitely the best way to remove. I’ve done dozens of them. Might gouge the gland nut a little while tightening but it’s all hidden under the strut dust cap. It’s more important to be tight than pretty. The stock “tool” is junk.
