I looked under the dash and do not see where the flasher mounts .Do I need to remove a gauge to access where this installs ?

new results - the tail lights, turn signals and brake lights are now working with the old flasher installed . Now I need to sometimes turn off and on again the left turn signal to get it to work ( wasn't having any issues before ) .Maybe this is just a bad connection at the turn signal switch itself , still not sure why the new flasher did not work but hesitant to reinstall it for more testing .
I know a safety feature of these cars is that when you park it you can select either the right or left turn signal on and the front and rear lamps light up but now I notice the brake lamps also light up , I can't remember if it was this way before I swapped out old lamps for the led bulbs ? I think I will quit for the day and come back to this tomorrow .
