I was working on the ole 914 this weekend, getting ready for the front sway bar install, and found the boots on my steering rack were smoked. I went to order new boots and the standard boots on the websites didn't look like what was on my car.

I think the car already has Turbo Tie Rods on it. I wanted to put this out to you guys to see what you guys think. Are these Turbo Tie Rods?

Hey @jim_hoyland - the boots arrived today. I am not 100% sure these match exactly what is on my car today. They are 100% what comes today with a new turbo tie rod kit if you get the Porsche part number, but know that they may be different from what you may have. YMMV.

I will let you know how they fit.

*edit:
My curiosity got the better of me, they are in fact the same as what was on my car. They looked different because of the horrible shape of the ones on the car. I removed one of the originals and placed them side by side. The new ones are thicker. The new boots did not come with replacement spring retainers. Looks like I am missing at least one of the small ones.

Sorry for the confusion.
