FS: 1972 SBC 350 914 $39,995 or best offer

Bought this car four years ago from Kent. Kent did all the bodywork on this car and is renowned for his 914-6 and other high end Porsche restorations. I decided to downsize to just my 3.6 914-6 GT clone.

One of a kind 914 V8
Chevy 350 crate engine with Fitech Fuel Injection, mild cam, headers, etc.
•One piece steel front hood
• Custom one of a kind steel flairs
• Headlights are under turn signal lenses
• Renegade radiator, adapters and CV's
• Custom front bumper and valance
• Shaved door handles
• Remote door actuators
• Electric Windows
• Custom seats
• Hot rod orange flat paint
• Shortened top
• Dr Evil built trans with taller gears for 3rd, 4th and 5th. Totally matches the v8 torque curve and better gas mileage
• Partial cage with rear suspension tied into cage. Car is the stiffest 914 I have ever owned.
• Custom stereo with front and rear speakers in firewall
• For more information check out my thread and Kents thread. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act...=2&t=356033

Upgrades and new parts

• Installed horns and horn ring
• Installed rotary switch for fresh air fan
• Fixed rear trunk lock and added solenoid with switch in engine compartment
• New Spark plug wires and spark plugs
• New Bilstein shocks
• New front Sway bar bushings,
• Rear 914-4 emergency brake (calipers, disks, cables, etc.) still have previous drilled disks and 911T calipers.
• Front hood shocks
• Charcoal canister (did have horrible gas smell in car)
• New Stereo
• New Alarm system
• New Michelin pilot sport tires
• Drink holder arm rest,
• New Coco mats
• GPS speed hut speedometer (have old speedometer)
• New Battery
• New Alternator,
• Fuse for battery cable,
• Rear top holders
• Vertical roll bar chrome and rubber
• Rear view mirror, visors, vanity rubber, roll bar foam
• New Renegade HD CV Joints and axles
• Fixed Tach
• Added clock and voltmeter
• Added metal RS door handles (previously there was no way to close the doors with the windows up)
• Added ash tray (was rear view camera monitor). I have a new one in a box, but I thought it was worthless and switched back to stock rear view mirror.

I was told this car was owned by drifterjay on this site prior to Kent owning it. You can do a search on his user ID for more history.

I saw it at a gathering and had a chance to walk up close, it is a sweet looking car. Good luck with the sale.
