I Have a 76 2.0 that has been parked for over 30 years ..I have been going through it trying to get it back in running order fuel tank has been cleaned and coated, new fuel lines, fuel pump, vacuum hoses, plugs rotor, cap, sent injectors in to Mr. Injector to be cleaned and tested. The car will fire andstart for a second, but won't run. Fuel pressure and spark are good, where do I go next?

Start with checking the foundation and then move on to the walls, plumbing etc.

1. Compression - make certain that the compression is correct, that the valves are adjusted.
2. Assuming DJet(if stock it is a DJet) - the plenum MUST be airtight and be able to hold a vacuum - This is an absolute necessity to get the engine to run correctly.
3. Injectors - verify that all of the injectors spray when actuated - I had one fail after sending to a very good injector refurb company - chased this one for a month....great company, the injectors are very old and well, fail.
4. Sensors - the Temp Sensor on the passenger side of the engine - it is buried - often fails and causes all sorts of havoc, it is cheap however, may be frozen in the case - PB Blaster or similar prior to trying to remove
5. Injector pressure - needs to be 29PSI, verify that this is correct - you state it is good, for a carb engine it is around 3PSI, for an injector engine it is very different - these two fuel pumps are sometimes mixed up and cause lots of problems - 29 into a carb - yikes.
6. Dwell - I cannot stress how important this is. I rebuilt the distro using a kit and could not get the dwell to set at 45deg, I bought a refurbished one set the gap, measured the dwell and when the car started, about 10 running problems ( missing, low power, occasional bucking, etc. ) all disappeared.

I found a great deal of symptom-fix information in Dr. 914's book

https://www.autoatlanta.com/Tech-Tips-700-F...PN-RBK7074.html

Nearly every symptom is covered, short money for a great reference.
