Does anyone know what the line item charge was for the Pepita inserts back in 1970. I have seen it also referred to as Hounds Tooth Check Fabric. Would be great if someone had a window stick with this option!

mike

don't have any sales print outs for 70 models.
all my files are for L jets. 74 on.
but i do have this detailed one for a tourist ordered 74.
explains the black squares with an S beside them on the fabric chart for 70 that came from jeff's website.
shows the corduroy option/choice had been ticked. was no charge.
but you did have to tick and order one.
standard fare was all leatherette unless you indicated one of the other standard choices.
this is one of those black square w/S scenarios.

was how it would have worked with the 914/6 back in 70 with its three possibilities.
leatherette or corduroy or dogs tooth. you just had to say which one you wanted.

sometimes on BAT if you search the 70s models you might see a window printout with the documentation. but it will be a rare 914/4 that shows up for sale that had metallic paint originally. let alone dogs tooth. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) i have not noticed many 70s on BAT researching the 74 L jets. the only stuff i have seen is the examples that jeff bowlsby has filed.
