Many classic cars including Porsche 914's lack a place to hold a beverage.
This inconvenience leads to spilled drinks. This new drink holder is a solution for that; It was designed specifically for our cars. It attaches to one of the existing mounting bolts for the shifter body, which offers sturdy mounting. Quality was a priority during development. After testing with an aluminum prototype, it was found that aluminum was far too flimsy, and if acidic drinks such as coffee were spilt on it, the metal would discolor and corrode. This left stainless steel as the best option. It offers a solid build, and long lasting durability. If the metal should ever discolor, it can be maintained with regular store bought cleaning products due to its relation to everyday stainless steel kitchen appliances. Details: Brushed finish 304 stainless steel construction. x2 3-⅛ Diameter openings. Fits most disposable drink cups. Conveniently mounts next to the shifter. Complete instructions, easy installation. Made in USA. Disclaimer: This drink holder will not fit 914’s with a center console. A separate version for cars fitted with a center console is currently in development. Installation of this drink holder requires a small hole to be cut into the carpet. $110, Including Free Shipping PM me through the forum to order. |
