Several recent threads about oil screens has me thinking I need to invest in another tool - a torque wrench that is more accurate at the lower end of scale. To that end, seeking recommendations for which inch pound torque wrench to buy. What do you have and would you recommend it? I suspect there will be lots of different opinions, but lets hear them!

So Ill chime in here.
Most every Avg garage should be equipped with both a inch lb (1/4 drive) & foot lb (3/8 drive) torque wrench. Full stop.
The discussion about brands and quality is great & all, but verification & repeatability coupled with the experiential "feel" mentioned by other cant be overstated..
Working in both Aviation & automotive environments, my own opinion is I place the FEEL higher in value over the digital light and/or tones to creep up an a value, so I like clicker style wrenches.
Beam style wrenches IDK I could never trust, probably because I the ones I could afford were generally crap. In aviation its a different story.

This might help a # of folks CALIBRATING YOU TORQUE WRENCH
