914World Classifieds Rules

- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Hello 914World,
my previous (no longer my current...) mechanic just did some electrical work on my wiring and promptly shorted out my working headlight switch so I am in need of an OEM replacement or information on where I can get an identical working, new replacement. My search online for a new OEM or even a RePop has resulted no finds. I am still a newbit at the 914 thing so it could be lack of knowledge as well. I tried the common West Coast suppliers and didn't see anything and an EBay search leads me to believe it's not an available part new any longer. I have a '73 original 2.0l car converted to 3.0l 6 from '79 911 SC. Any help appreciated. Much Thanks |

Yep.
There’s an early and a late headlight switch. I think ‘73 was a transition year. So you could have either switch. Remove your switch and take a pic of the side with the electrical connections and the part number if possible. The number/pattern of electrical posts will indicate if you have early or late. |
