Probably one of the rarest original parts of a 914. It was worth it to me just to see what a quality tire this is. New tires are dry rotted in 5 years and this thing is probably 50 years old and soft as new. It did draw a crowd at the tire shop and they tried to date it but couldn't, the other 4 tires/rims I brought in they said were made in 2002! I am USING those on my daily beater 914 right now!(they all were stored indoors for years, I really wont drive on a dryrot crack of any kind, but I know 20yo tires is dumb) |
