Anybody use the Rennline seat mount? Not sure where I want to put a fire extinguisher, but this looks like a neat solution without making holes. Any pics of other mounting places appreciated. On my last 914 I just kept it behind my seat!

I read differing opinions/reviews on the Element. What made me decide against it was looking at a car that had a fire and hearing that the Element the previous owner had used to try to put out the fire didn't make a dent in the flames. There is a great technical discussion on fire extinguishers on the 356 forum with details from a member who ran a LAB and researched Halon replacements for years. I think you can view even if not a subscriber. 356 forum element fire extinguishers I am out of stock and still considering another run or not Ben. What prevents this from being usable on early cars with fixed passenger seats? I see your description explicitly says: all movable passenger seats |
