As a newcomer to the world of the 914 i will be asking some rookie questions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I'm about to remove the 1.7 engine from my car as i intend to install a 6 engine once restored. Is there anything i need to keep from this engine before i offer it for sale .?

Wiring, clutch, flywheel etc.

Thanks in advance

Dave

Yup, Perry Kiehl for a engine harness...just the best. I would also recommend starting with the basics. In Wisconsin, heated A/C garage, some kind of lift, build box to roll motor and trans into position. Your going to do this a few time to get everything right. And Ben McFarland has all the knowledge as to oil, exhaust, mounting. Then you go to PMB for all the brake upgrades you will want. And 914world will have the rest.
