I am just stating the fact here, not complaining. Your shipping cost could be 3/4 of the price of the item you bought. In my case a set of front hood springs shipping came to $40 with fees. Ouch because the hood springs cost $57, so the total was $97. Prices for shipping are NOT in the hands of the seller. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Even worse shipping internationally into Canada. We typically get "hosed" with bogus customs clearance fees charged by the courier companies. It's so bad that, when possible, we will ship to a receiver in the US and drive a couple of hours, pay fees and import the items ourselves to avoid those fees. On one item the cost of gas probably isn't worth it, but if one picks up several purchases it's well worth it.
