The screws for my fog light grills were the long flat head ones pictured below. PET says that the correct screws are 3.5 x 13, which are the short ones pictured below. All 8 on my car were like the long one. Based on my experience with this car, if all 8 screws are the same then they probably were the original screws (POs were clearly too frugal to change all 8 just to be consistent). So, for those that know what was original, are the long ones correct?

Long ones are wood screws, not correct originals. My 73 has Phillips pan head stainless about the same length as your other one, and I replaced the original rusty body clips with plastic expanding anchor "plugs" that fit perfectly in the original body holes, and won't rust.
