I am building my second 914 and putting a 2.4 six in and building it with hopes of building it out to a hotter 2.5 long stroke next winter... So I am putting in a external cooler up front. I am looking for the best ways to run the lines.. I dont want to run GT hardlines. What did you do?? Pictures welcome!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

@pete-stevers pete-stevers

The braded lines run from the back drivers side along the drivers side, come up under the left wheel well, fastened to body and then with 90 degree AN fittings go into the frunk to Oil cooler and come back to tank in reverse way. See the red circles. If you do not want to use Bens GT lines, this is the way Trotman did it back in the day. If my set up was not in my car when I got it , I would of gone with hard lines. The two holes circled together are for the 90s. the small holes are for the bracket. Back in 07 Ben was not making the hard lines and they cost a fortune. I may have some pictures of the lines as they where but you should get a good idea how this kind of set up works.

You can get all that info from PMB as far as the size. There is more that one way to do this.
