Was it possible to buy just the outer floor edge repair panels in the past, say the 1990's.?
The car i have just started to investigate has butt welds along both driver and passenger sides, poorly excuted though.! The sections are ribbed indicating they are bought panels.

There is also a crease/ raised section on the long, not sure how that happened. ?

Any of you long term restorers know if you could buy these floor edge pieces way back ?

Here's a couple of pictures.

Many thanks.
Dave

Doesn't, look like a repair panel.

Have you carefully looked for evidence of an accident? The crease looks like a hydraulic ram was used to push the long outwards. Is there a similar mark on the other side?

Good luck with your project!
