Was it possible to buy just the outer floor edge repair panels in the past, say the 1990's.?
The car i have just started to investigate has butt welds along both driver and passenger sides, poorly excuted though.! The sections are ribbed indicating they are bought panels. There is also a crease/ raised section on the long, not sure how that happened. ? Any of you long term restorers know if you could buy these floor edge pieces way back ? Here's a couple of pictures. If the floor section is cheap enough, could buy one and cut out just the section needed.
