Went to Barbourville yesterday. Think 914 stockpile. They have everything over there.....1.8 engines, teh camper-buses i *love*, BMW 2002s, and much more. Picked up the parts car with a title *YEA!*. EVerything looks great! I loved it. ANyway, I recieved a car with decent longs, no engine, an ACTUAL REAL LIFE battery tray(heh), a key and a passenger door handle. Looks great. I want to post pictures today but I don't have a camera, and my girlfriend will be pissed if i halt progress to take car pictures.....I'll get em'. Might pick up a 6 and tranny and make another 914 racer (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Check you all later. I might just end up parting it out.....who knows? I hope you still aren't planning on using the pink clip and keeping the car as you stated previously. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) As another member pointed out you will have to cut the vin out of the pink car with the clip, thus ruining any value the car may have. I know because I did a car hit almost exactly like yours 3 years ago, and we had to cut the donor through the gas tank well. We are all just trying to help you keep from making a mistake that we have all made at one time or another. I myself kick my own ass every day thinking about some of the PARTS that I have tossed. I am now a pack rat (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) In the end it is your car and you will do as you wish. We just don't want you to get to antsy about fixing the red car and make a mistake.
