I thought they were supposed to be 4 OHM at the time. I did some brief research on this. There is some evidence to suggest the early 70s radios are meant to have 8 ohm speakers. Later cars 4 ohms. Thanks to Radiomuseum.org, I found a manual for our specific model 1970 Frankfurt US 7639670. It it indicated 5,8 ohm. The Zenith speakers in the car measure ~6 Ohm. |
