I have two roofs I need to refinish - they don't have to be absolutely stock looking but I'd like to get close.. so if anyone has ideas other than a schutz application, I'm all ears.
Otherwise, anybody have one (gun) to rent out? TIA. |

I did mine with a HVLP gun with a 2.0 tip. I thinned Raptor bed liner and tinted it black. I was able to get an even but textured enough finish. It came out nice.
I had used a schutz gun on the bottom of my car. I found it to be quite course and harder to control. I wished I had used a HVLP gun. It’s a nicer finish IMO. Also… the schutze gun I used was free… it came with the raptor kit I used. So probably not the best quality. I’ve seen some good ones who used bed liner spray cans. Attached image(s)
