I am doing a rotisserie restoration on a 1970 914-6. The engine for the restoration will be a 2.7 with much greater torque and horsepower than the more modest 2.0. I intend to have as a street car and not race it so I was wondering what if any stiffening components would be recommended for my restoration. Your suggestions and knowledge in response would be much appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

I just used them on my flared 3.2 build. I wanted a stiffer chassis. But realistically,
you don’t need them just because you are installing a 2.7. It’s your choice.
