I am ready to install my new engine and looking for thoughts on the firewall insulation pads as I would like the look of stock, though also the insulation of heat and sound coming from the engine compartment
I have sort of narrowed it down to 2, one is the one offered by 914Rubber (always great products) and one from AA, has any one experience with ether or other Ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks wes

I got one at Octeeener fest in NC years ago and installed it for the ride home...yes it was much quieter ride home. IT was from Rix914 parts synthetic OE type replacement

I also bought a Rix914 firewall pad at Okteenerfest years ago and am quite happy with it now. Don't know if they are still available, but much lighter and easier to install than the original. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)
