I have the 914 rear emblem for the 4 cylinder cars on my GT clone. I would like to replace it with the correct 914-6 emblem. The only place I see these is Sierra Madre.
https://sierramadrecollection.com/products/...c4d4e0c802eeaff Does anyone know if the pin spacing on these the same as the spacing is for the 4 cylinder version. I do not want to drill new holes. |

We just did this on our buddie's '74 914. We found the 2 holes from the stock 914 emblem were exactly where they needed to be for the 6 emblem. We did have to add 1 hole for the last pin on the right side of the emblem. I will attach a picture as soon as I go snap one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Number of downloads: 89My 73 had the black badges ,one "914" and the other "2.0" ,fitted the gold "914-6" emblem but the old holes for the "2.0" emblem remain and can see the spare holes haven't been drilled later on ,looks factory ??? . My son is right into his Cad printer so if send him my old emblem then see if he can make me a 2.2 emblem ,not fun having 2 useless holes in the rear of the car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . I guess drilling the last hole in the longer emblem is the only solution as opposed to double sided tape ,up to the OP of course. |
