yesterday coming into my garage, I hear one ritming song- under the cover of my 914 2.0 1974, one strange movement, the LEFT Headlamp go UP and DOWN
The RIGHT Headlamp stays in the closed position.
Normally, I detach the battery of the car when in the garage, but I forgot this time.
The car was without a KEY IN - the Light switch was off -
The last trip with the car ALL was regular, and the headlamp was in working condition.

I can STOP the movement, detaching the battery- but this NO was the solution,
Then I searched for a better solution.
Extract completely the Light switch -(with the BATTERY connected and KEY ON) I have the two headlamps is up and in stable condition - also when I START the engine and move the car, and make a long trip

But if I return the light switch to the POSITION light, the LEFT Headlight return to UP_DOWN movement.

Is clear that I have one short- Or one Relay issue - BUT 914 was full of relays
Can someone help me, to return to a normal 914 ??
I am not a native English so overlook my errors

Now do the the same with the headlamp switch in the off position (headlamps down). Passenger side relay still removed.

Now the gray wire should have 12v on it.

Pin 85 of the relay socket ought to have 12v on it.

The green/black wire to the back of the headlamp motor ought to have 0v.

FIRST Thanks To ALL for the help

ONE CLARIFICATION. My harness is very damaged by the PO, the switch of the FOUR LIGHT was cut, etc., etc. So I bought a Used 914 Harness -assuming that it is a1973
model as seller did - I have controlled and revised the insulation sheath - BUT never beginning to substitute the old, is a work that I do on the two My oldest cars,
but on 914 The tortuosity is more serious- I am over 80-

I was working on the Diagram yesterday. And solved the problem not gracefully but efficiently.
My FOG switch is free because I have connected TWO LED DAY LIGHT connected directly to the TAIL Lamps (on the old FOG Lamps
I have conneted the PASSENGER RED wire Positive(NOT UNDER KEY)to the exFOG SW-
Then from the exFOG SW to the PASSENGER 3 wire connector- this to avoid the problem of the UP& DOWN immedite at the connection of the battery -

So I can also PULL the Headlight SWICH ON the TAIL light and DAY LIGHT that aren't UNDER KEY (the exFOG SW stay in OFF position)

With car KEY ON (exFOG SW OFF)
I can PULL THE HeadLIGHT SW POP UP the Driver HeadLight -
to forcing the Passenger to Open
I must give a 2 seconds input (ON-OFF) from the exFOG SW and the PASSENGER Headlight POP UP in stable position-
also the comutation LEVER work-from Lower to High light and reverse-
If I PUSH The Headlight SW to OF - Driver Headlight return to the LOW position
to Lower the Passenger I must send a 2 second input with the exFOG SW-
and Headlight return on LOW position, stable
(If i don't push OFF the sw the UP&DOWN come back)

Probably if I connect the RED passenger wire to the UNDER KEY positive
all return to the normality - but at the moment I am satisfied
