People from other car marques ask me both why Porsche for me, but also for so many others. Why Porsche? Because unlike many vintage car marques, Porsche is still racing and still winning. There is a reason they have won Le Mans more time than anyone else, they were built to race from the beginning, and they've never stopped! IMSA 2025 Champions, a trifecta. Porsche Penske Motorsport has taken all three 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship titles: Drivers’, Teams’, and Manufacturers’. Raceborn indeed!

ACVW's were a gateway drug for me as well. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I traded a 70 Bay Window Bus and a 64 VW Rag top for my first 914. Owned over 40 914's since then. I was really hooked when my old VW Porsche mechanic moved into his first real shop and had a wide body 914-6 IMSA style race car in one of his bays... |
